Outgrowing Your Old Life? What My Move Revealed About Transformation

Do you ever feel stuck in your life? Or find yourself hesitating to take action because past efforts haven’t yielded the success you hoped for?

I’ve been thinking about this while unpacking boxes, organizing, and decorating my new home. These past weeks have been filled with moving logistics – professional movers for the heavy lifting, but the packing and unpacking has been all me, with some help from my daughter, her boyfriend, and youngest son. I actually enjoy that part a lot though I have had moments where I felt tremendously exhausted.

This new place feels incredibly aligned and meant to be. I may share more details about this entire manifestation process later if you’re interested. In my experience, it’s been pretty profound how things can work out miraculously when we follow the “keys” to connect with universal forces, that I also teach in my inner circle.

Something unexpected happened this week that felt like perfect confirmation…

The other day, while walking my dog Maisy through my new neighborhood – which sits beautifully within a nature preserve – something caught my attention. Maisy pulled toward something near a neighbor’s house: the longest snake shed skin I’ve ever seen.

Later, I discovered that finding snake skin often symbolizes personal transformation, spiritual growth, and shedding old patterns to make way for new beginnings. In many cultures, snakes and their shed skins represent rebirth.

This got me thinking about our own cycles of growth and transformation.

Like that snake, we sometimes need to:

1. Recognize when we’ve outgrown our current “skin” – whether that’s a mindset, relationship, or environment.
2. Create necessary friction against something solid to begin the shedding process.
3. Leave behind what no longer serves us, even if it once provided use or protection.

What old skin might you be ready to shed in your life or business? What patterns, beliefs, or environments have you outgrown?

I’ve recorded a short video exploring this metaphor. You can watch it on my YouTube Channel. (Please subscribe to help me grow it).

I hope you’re finding ways to embrace growth and joy despite the turmoil, chaos in the world, and uncertainty we’re all navigating. We need strong women supporting each other now more than ever.

I believe in you and your capacity to live your full potential, aligned with your soul’s DNA.

From the bottom of my heart.

Charlotte

P.S. I’d love to hear about your own “shedding” experiences – what are you ready to leave behind this season?
